What you refer to as the "already lined up cards" was known as parallel
dealing and has not been used for probably 15 years or more. I think the
change occurred in the early or mid 90's when the current method, called
serial dealing, was adopted. In essence, when your PRNG stops as you hit
your draw button, the draw cards are displayed one at a time sequentially,
right off the top of the virtual deck, for lack of a better term, just as it
would be in a live game. I'm reasonably sure that in the 8-1/2 years of
vpFREE, this has likely been the subject of a thread 40 or 50 times. If you
are curious for more details, search in messages for serial or sequential
and parallel dealing, you will find additional info..
