[casino_comps] a little help

Some players assume the expected return (ER) or something close to it depends on the pay schedule entirely for video poker games. Not so. You must play computer-perfect and use long term results as well as find a good pay schedule. (I spent over 10 years writing and revising user-friendly strategy cards for the 8 core games. The latest ones use a simple 2x2 matrix so all dealt hands can be found quickly, along with the correct holds. I've incorporated both penalty card and quirky hand situations in a "painless to player" mode.)

You will find my features archived at Midwest Gaming and Travel under the video poker link--free to read. www . midwestgamingandtravel .com

April's feature, "Waiting for Godot" is now out--it deals with playing smart while "waiting for Godot".

My book, "The Video Poker Edge", also answers these questions. The 2010 Second Edition is now available at Amazon, through my publisher, Square One, New York (Toll Free: 877-900-BOOK), or any major book store. My video poker strategy cards and removable pay schedules/ ERs are free with my book--over $100 value.
