occasions, "anonymously" tipped a cashier $10.00 when they
cashed a $1,000 ticket for me.
I do not suggest or advocate that others emulate this behavior,
most especially pros, who must zealously guard their bottom line.
Though I am acquainted with some pros who are extremely generous
in tipping casino personnel.
As I have stated, I am a VP Libertarian. Whatever feels right to
each person, in regard to tipping/non-tipping, should be the
deciding factor. My personal decision is based on two things;
I was strongly influenced by the observed behavior of my Mom and
Dad in regard to tipping, but, most of all, it makes ME feel good
to share some of my happiness with another person. However, I
would not tip anyone, anonymously or when hand paid, if I did
not also receive prompt, pleasant and friendly service.
