[casino_comps] Re: The Best of Harrahs Vegas Properties?

I stayed at the Flamingo last year, it was nice but, like most of the casinos on the Strip, no $5 tables (ever) and the video poker didn't pay like it should. I played at all of the casinos on the Strip where I could find $5 table games (O'Shea's, Riviera, Slots-O-Fun, Casino Royale, & Imperial Palace), Imperial Palace was far and away the nicest of the bunch and way less crowded. I don't recall any of the dealers being overbearing, but yeah, I could see where their schtick could wear on you if you got the wrong one. I've got comped rooms for IP, the Rio, Bally's , Flamingo, Harrah's, and the Orleans, I wanted to stay somewhere new and I've already stayed at the Rio, Flamingo, & Harrah's. The Rio is really nice, but I didn't like playing there & despite the shuttle to Harrah's, I found it inconvenient. I considered staying at the Orleans, but like the Rio, it's too far away from the Strip to walk to any other casinos. I'm going to take my chances at Imperial Palace, if I find it to be unbearable it shouldn't be hard to get a comped room somewhere else because I'll be there during the week.
