[vpFREE] Death by apathy?

I never imagined I'd look to the Tripadvisor AC Travel Forum for the latest Caesars update ...

Sounds like over the weekend AC players who redeemed a gift promo without play were forced, on a subsequent visit, to stop by the Caesars Rewards desk to re-validate their PIN's before they could access their accounts, including any RC's.

Biggest critique on Tripadvisor was that prior notice wasn't provided.  I'm inclined to wonder if this has any larger implication for activities on a non-gaming day ...
