My opinion is if you swipe in a kiosk, you will get tripped since they will know you were there. The bigger question is how much this will hurt your future offers if at all.

What is the consensus here? One local casino mails me a few hundred a week in freeplay, but before you can run it off you have to activate it at a promotional kiosk. It's obvious that running off the freeplay creates a trip in this particular casino's system, but suppose I download the freeplay (say a mystery amount) and decide I don't like it, can I just not run it off and avoid tripping myself? (does the mere act of swiping at the kiosk create a trip?).
