This is my first trip to Vegas in over two years. One of my favorite spots to play used to be the Wildfire Group, including Barleys, the Bowling Alley across from Barleys, Wildfire Rancho, etc. They had a great setup at their bars, where there were eight vp games progressive that built simultaneously, and there were always some rather high jackpots.
In the time since I was here before, Wildfire Group has been devastated. All the progressive are very low, and the same setup is no longer. At Wildfire Rancho, there is only one jackpot at the bar instead of eight, and it is always low, and the bartender told me that since they did that the place is frequently dead.
WHAT HAPPENED?!!! These places were always busy. Even some of the games have been changed. The Bonus Poker lowered to 6-5, the DDB lowered to 8-5, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
Is this another case of some young "suits" counting beans with their calculators and screwing up a good thing? What the heck happened?
