Speaking of progressives, the jackpot on the .05 triple play bank of
machines (with a wide variety of short-pay games, like 6-5 Bonus poker) is up to
over $11,000 for a royal on all three lines- i.e. dealt. (There are also
progressives on each individual line for royals, but I've never seen one get
over $400) at Gold Dust West in Elko.
Given the overall bad pay scales and that winning the big progressive is
pure luck, could a person ever consider this a "positive" play?
