Re: [vpFREE] Vegas Hilton

I"m sure they do need the business. We stopped going there a few years ago - just couldn't stand the disparity of the Hilton vs nicer places. As was mentioned -

a) the sports book is not only loud, but dirty, dark and smoky
b) not only that, but sports book also definitely has an air of perhaps less desirable types - who take up all of the seats at the progressives if there is a game even though they are not playing. And they smoke, smoke, smoke.
c) everything there (last time I went) was dirty - including slot areas, table game areas, etc
d) craps dealers on average tend to be somewhat rude - definitely not contributing to a "fun" feeling, but rather a bored one
e) coffee shop is good in an old-fashioned way - like if you feel like going back in time to the fifties

So maybe as a local I could see going there briefly - or for some of the deals at Benihana's - but to stay there from out of town - no more.
