Mark,

Are you asking from a casino's viewpoint or the state's? You can get a DL immediately, which make you a NV resident in the eyes of any slot club. As for voting purposes, you need to have lived in your specific county for 30 days, and in your specific precinct at least 10 days prior to the next election and you cannot claim residency anywhere else. Otherwise, you are a resident as soon as you move and have proof of residency (lease, bills, DL, etc.).
