"Pete" probably does not even exist. "He" was there to illustrate a point that Dancer was trying to make (and one that I tend to agree with).

Too many people expect that free advice should be available all the time, as their due. An entitlement mindset has been engendered in our society, even in video poker. (In my opinion, of course.)
