RE: [vpFREE] Re: Las Vegas trip report

Just got back from a 4 night stay with little luck on the gambling and dining side.
Thursday Night: Fly in on SWA and arrive at 10pm. SWA was on-time and the shuttle from the airport was only a 10 minute wait for once. Arrived at the HRH and immediately asked if i needed to sign-up for the play and swipe promo. I didn't, but it was 1045pm and I had to garner 750 credits in one hour. I sat down at the new 10 play 8/5 bonus machine and quickly was up 120.00. After getting a quick 800 points I swiped my card 5 times and got four 5 dollar free play tickets and one 3 dollar ticket. This was a small play but definitely a positive one.
Checked in at harrah's for the night and since it was my first appearance there, but put in a real nice room with a jacuzzi tub and marble bathroom. I going to give them some play since my former HRH host Katy Kindsfather is now there.
Friday : Use a coupon for a twofer at KGB, the new Kerry Simon burger joint. The burger I order medium came back extremely well done. I ate it since my waitress didn't speak very good English.

After that fiasco, sat down at the 7/5 bonus dreamcard machine in the poker palace and got hammered for 670.00. The cashier was nice and said, "That's a nice ticket". Of course I told her i started out with 1k. Took a cab to the HRH and checked in to a room with a pool view in the casino tower. Sat down at the 8/5bonus ten play and struggled for 2 hours with a loss of 250, which also included my 50 in free play. Sat next to "Kris", one of the monster HRH players who was pounding the 20 line spin poker machine next to me. He was playing pNSUD and after 8 hours had well over 50k points. He was there for a free blackjack tourney whick was invite only. To qualify you needed a theo loss of 4k per trip. To qualify for the bonus blackjack tourney on Sunday you needed a theo loss of 12.5 for the weekend. Friday night went over to Southpoint with a friend and met his cocktail waitress friend and drank for free for two hours. My friend went to the blackjack table with his co-worker and after 20 minutes at the 5 dollar table asked for a comp to the deli. Got turned down, but after some pleading from his hot assistant who is a player there, got us two comps for the buffet. Review: 4 forks for Seafood buffet.
Saturday: Played in the High Limit room on the spin poker 25cent machine and broke even. Unfortunately my new friend Kris decided to leave the 100 play 8/5 bonus machine next to me. I sat down and started playing bonus poker deluxe. After realizing I was playing the wrong game, switched to 8/5 bonus with no luck. I decided to only play 8 lines, but had no luck other than a couple of 4 of a kinds. Net loss: 360.
Sunday: Sat out at the new pool area at the HRH and loved it. Much quieter than the Rehab side. Used my 40 dollar free food ticket for a ribeye at AGO. Review: 4 forks. Also Sunday I saw my first million dollar player. He had one million dollars in 1k chips on a blackjack table in the high-limit room. Only saw him at the table once during the day. It looked like his average bet was 7k. I didn't recognize him, but looked like Emminem, but only a lot taller.
Monday: SWA took me back to San Jose on time and I was able to get my son from his first day of school at 3pm.

Keep on rockin
