[vpFREE] Re: Palms...How stupid can you get?

Why would you go through all this trouble? All you are doing is causing the maid more work that she shouldn't have to do. Believe it or not, there are people who have been known to come to Vegas and never use their room since they were gambling so much. So you're messing up the room so the maid has to clean it again, and obviously not leaving a tip. Do you think the hotel really cares whether you used the room or not?

I go to the room, mess up the bed, move the pilows and rumple them up a little, open the soap, wet some towels and throw them on the floor or in the tub, put out the do not disturb sign, and leave - I don't REALLY make a "mess", just try to leave some signs of use. Then I get (and play) my freeplay, get my duffle if necessary, leave. If the key is a credit-card type, I keep it with me in case I go back again, in which case I make a return visit to the room and renew my mess-up; if it's a more expensive (real) key, I just leave it in the room.
