As I posted previously the "real life" Dreamcard machine doesn't always give you the best draw.
Three or four errors were again demonstrated to me in Las Vegas on Monday playing Triple Bonus. This game pays 600 for quad 2s, 3s and 4s.
One of the errors was so obvious I cringed. I was dealt 3,6,8 and 10 in mixed suits, plus the Dreamcard.
The machine chose another 10 as the fifth card.
I don't have a calculator handy. But, I figure you'll probably lose about a dollar in E.V. by not pairing the 3.
