Several Casinos now charge what they call a resort fee. Typically it includes local calls, newspaper, Internet access & health club. It varies somewhat from property to property.

If you are RFB is will be comped. At Mirage, the resort fee was comped. At the Venetian since I was on a room comp only, the charge was approx $18 per day if I wanted it.

I have stayed at Palazzo on many occasions on a fully comped basis.
However, I do not know what you are referring to as "resort fee". Can you
enlighten me on this subject and why it would be better to pay the fee?

By the way, the hotel makes no differentiation between where I can use my
comp rooms, so I always choose Palazzo, which is newer and with bigger
rooms. Also, in my opinion, the casino at Palazzo is nicer than Venetian.
