Absolutely correct. "$1.00 tip per trip" is the going rate. And where non-alcoholic drinks are concerned, and they are served in tiny glasses, 3/4 full of ice, with a piece of lemon, I always order 2 club sodas or diet cokes.

I also think that the estimate of # of drinks served is low. I believe that they usually split their designated areas into at least 2 sections, and make about 3 trips per hour, per section. I think that a good waitress will make well over $100K annually.

You tip too much. The going rate is $1.00 for any kind of drink. I have
never seen a waitress do anything but accept a tip. Sometimes, they are so
busy, they do not even wait for the tip. I am a frequent guest at
Palazzo. But the same holds true at all strip casinos.
