I love the poker room at the M, much, much better than Southpoint. I haven't stayed at the M, but go there all the time, it's only 5 miles from my house. It's about 3 miles from Southpoint and 10 miles from Mandalay Bay. There is nothing, I mean nothing around M, just a gas station and Jack in the Box. We stayed at Southpoint and the rooms were very nice. They have a nice big movie theatre, bingo, bowling. They both have tons of video poker. I'm sure the room rates are higher at M than Southpoint, or did you get a deal at M?? M pays $1.00 for every 333 points earned and I think Southpoint is about the same. Go to their websites and compare their deals. Have a great time, and good LUCK. Marla
