I just got back from Aria and I'll confirm what others have said. I couldn't find and FP VP under $5. They did have some $1 progressives that were 8/5 and at $6500+. I found the casino to be very dark and not very appealing.
Personally, we didn't think to much of it. Huge steel structures, way overpriced shopping. We were glad that we changed our New Years reservations to NYNY.

After visiting Aria on opening night, I really like the whole vibe
and architectural ambience of Aria and City Centre. It feels very
modern and urban to me, which is something I feel, as a resident, is
very lacking in this town.
