[vpFREE] Palms club

It has been some time since I've been to Vegas and even longer since I've been to Palms - perhaps 2 years or so. Could anyone tell me if I can expect my points to still be there. If I remember correctly I had over 800k points or so. Also, do you know if I call the players club desk will they verify my point balance. I know they say points expire after a year, but have heard reports of this not being the case in real life.

Also wondering if anyone can comment on the comp situation over at the Mirage for about 50k per day of VP.
