i was fortunate enough to get a dealt royal once in atlantic city on a $2 machine and my cousin just got one in an indian casino in florida on a quarter machine.
tipping is a highly personal decision and a very controversial subject (whether to do it at all and how much to give). i almost always tip, but i must say i think you were *extremely* generous with a $50 tip on a $1,500 jackpot. i would have given $10, $!5, maybe twenty dollars on a handpay of that size. (i might tip $50 for a 10K handpay.)
