Of course I was very skeptical but she played consistently and I didn't and she won quite a bit of cash, and you know how streaky deuces can be, just because it was a 100%+ game didn't mean that I was winning on it..... I was going to the gas station and funding my account through money-gram which there was a charge, but sports added the service charge, back into your deposit then, so basically what you deposited is what you got to play on. It was convenient and when the price of gas got so high at one time, it was just nice to be able to turn your PC on, right from home and go to the website and have fun, especially if the weather was bad and you just didn't feel like going out. The denoms were at .10/.20/.50/$1/$2 & $5 at single line and then on a four-play game of full pay deuces. It was really fun to play and I played over 1-2 months for FREE or on fun-play just to see how the site worked before I made a deposit. But my friend got quite a few pat hands dealt to her like deuces on .50 denom on 4 hands....., and got a lot of royals, probably over 10 in a years time and never had a problem getting the deposit back into her account, I think sports was based in Canada. But like all good things it came to an end and now the deuces are the 75/45/20/20 version, and the 9/6 JOB that was on it, is like 8/6 now.... :-( We even had an "expert" VP person playing on the site just to check it out and monitor it for oddities.... they reported seeing no redundant cards coming out on the draw, after throwing that same card away, and I felt comfortable playing on it at low stakes, but it just seemed way too good to be true. My friend even emailed sports and asked if there was some mistake because she found it too easy to be winning on it !!!!

I got paid 10 coins back for it, as it had either paid me for a straight or flush hand then, which both hands pay back 10 coins each. I did a screen capture of the wrong paying hand and sent it to sports in an email stating how the hand was paid wrong. Their response back to me, was that they were using Nevada gaming rules, (they had sent me the rules to look at), but insisted that in a low card straight flush a wild deuce was not really wild when it completed a hand, and only counted as a straight or flush then and not a straight flush, as they had interpreted the rules. They still did NOT change the payoff to that hand, as it continued to pay wrong for like 3-4 weeks, granted it didn't happen that often, but when it did, I noticed it, I think it happened like 4-5 more times on me playing it, this was while I was first on the site and testing it out. Finally they agreed with me via an email and said after further consulting they ended up changing the hand to pay the correct pay of 45, and you would receive that pay and they even thanked me for pointing the error out to them. My friend who was playing for REAL and for money even got a bonus added to her account for this error in the code. Being a former programmer I knew how this could have easily been over-looked as a programming error, but it took others playing to show them the mistakes in the code and then I thought if they were making mistakes that paid wrong, that could be a plus or minus to the player going both ways maybe.... So then I thought if their own inhouse staff of programmers were writing this from scratch, then maybe if they used the Random number generator command in programming when selecting cards that maybe it was then legit, but who really knows, you just take your chances I guess.

That's very interesting. I do remember that game at Sportsinteraction, but I did not participate. I briefly bet sports there, at a time when I was clueless about video poker. I don't remember why exactly but I stopped playing there because of some negative write-up I read, maybe in Sportsbookreview.com, but my memory is fading me.

I saw OTHER full-pay deuces online, and some of it I did play. Some of it was available for $5, although that is too expensive for my tastes. I do know that Real Time Gaming is capable of being set to deal FPDW, because I have seen it at more than a couple RTG sites. But my deal was basically bonus-whoring, in which I did quite well over about a 5-year period. When I first started, they were giving the house away. And although I did have a little bit of trouble, for the most part I think I always got paid. None of them stiffed me. Of course, some of the bad rep places I played in never got a chance to stiff me. I know that if I had won at some of them I would have been stiffed.

I think it will come back some day, to the United States. The opportunities will be different. Obviously there was a learning curve for the operators. Like I said, some of them were far too generous with bonuses and terms and conditions and just asking to be taken advantage of.

But it sure was fun while it lasted, gambling from my bedroom. I could wake up, and lose $100 before I even brushed my teeth. It was wonderful.
