Well, well....a doubter. I only lie/exaggerate when I play Texas Holde'm...not VP...it wouldn't do any good. Also, I have no reason to lie/exaggerate...it happened just the way I described. I had never played VP before that night and had no idea that I had hit a Royal Flush because it was 2am, I was tired and was pissed when I first saw the screen message Call Attendant. I had never seen this before. Even when it then was followed by another message $20,000 Jackpot Winner...I still seriously doubted it. By the way, this is the second time I reported the unbelievable hit on VPFree and it is basically told the same way both times.
You also probably would not believe me if I told you that when we were MGM the same year, we sat down at a 50 play machine in the High Limit area. We fed in $100 and were trying figure out the buttons to make sure we only bet around $20 each deal for a few deals. We were playing Bonus. A slot attendant walked up to us and asked if we needed help. I told her we were trying to figure out the bet buttons and she said, oh...you just push this....and she pushed the Max bet button accidently. Much to our and her surprise, it dealt 4 sixes on the bottom. Our Jack Pot was $1,600. No, I did not complain she had pushed the button for us....she did not mean too...she was just trying to show us and inadvertently pushed it.
As Robert LeRoy Ripley once said...Believe It or Not!
P.S. I also have some stories about when we lost....but you would probably believe those and don't want to hear them anyway.
