professionals who were really amateurs. Don't let them get away with it.
insist on proper compensation of some sort, so that others will be saved.
At the very least, the clerk should be busted. Employment is a real problem
in Vegas now and his scarce job should be given to a competent, polite,
sympathetic person. In addition, the maid should be busted for not notifying
management that the room looked occupied, when it was cleaned for the next
occupant.
This is a total blowup, which the hotel must correct for their own
benefit, if not for the benefit of their customers. Inform the hotel of your
post on-line here and tell them you will post again with the results of
their compensation efforts. I understand your feeling never to return to
Golden Nugget and i would never return myself in the same circumstances. If
they compensate you, therefore, make sure the comps can be used by someone of
your choice.
