Wow, that was a bad expereience. Sorry that happened to you but don't let them get away with that. Make sure you write the CEO of the company (Go to their website to find "the powers that be") Write to the department heads too and and make sure you cc'd their names in the letter. You will for sure receive an explanation. Andddd, if you want compensation for your troubles state it in the letter. Keep us updated.
