[casino_comps] Re: Christmas In Vegas

I'll add to this since I always liked Vegas in Christmas - the weather is sometimes goofy, but a lined trench coat is usually heavy enough for whatever comes up. All in all, I like being there when there aren't a bunch of college kids there for the summer pool parties, and fewer families. Maybe it's just perception, but I've long held that it's a good time for folks who like Vegas to be there.

The downside is that Vegas traffic when it's raining is truly awful, and so I tend to spend more time on the strip, or in one casino, than I do when it's easier to dash downtown or grab a cab to one end of the Strip or the other.
