[vpFREE] Re: Taxis and tipping

Linda, in my opinion, there's more risk of larceny taking a taxi in
Las Vegas than walking from casino to casino, and I lived in NYC for
10 years with only one problem with a cab driver. The last straw for
me came when my wife and I were going back to our casino, the Barbary
Coast (now Bill's). It was a short drive, all on the Strip, but our
cab driver turned west on Flamingo driving away from the clearly
visible Barbary Coast which is on the northeast corner of the Strip
and Flamingo. Since then, we have either rented a car or taken a
shuttle; I'll never get in another cab in Las Vegas.
