I have two IGT machines at home. An older 25c multigame machine with 5

So I just checked using the attendant keys:

Both machines display two rows of 5 cards. The original dealt hand with
the word HELD above the cards held and the second hand with the cards
redealt. Therefore at least on these two IGT machines, the original
dealt hand remains showing so there is no question of what was dealt,
held, and redealt.

Using your example:
HELD HELD HELD HELD
4h 5h 6h 7h 8h
4h 5h Kd 7h 8h
