What I would do is cash out the credits and put the slip in my pocket. I would then play the machine. If someone came around looking for the money I would hand them the ticket. If no one came by the time I had finished playing I would cash or play the ticket. If I saw the credits on a machine that I was not going to play I would cash it out and turn it over to a staff member.

If you came across say 100 dollars in credit on an open VP machine what would you do? Play them off...cash them out and vanish..call over an attendant or guard and explain the situation? Can the casino track down the former player?
