Re: [vpFREE] Cards unhold themselves upon redealing. Does it happen?

>The other day, while playing NSUD, I was dealt a wild straight flush. I held all 5 cards and pushed (not hit) the deal button. I also made sure that my fingers were not touching any of the keys. The middle card unheld itself and was replaced by another card of no use. So instead of getting 50 credits, I got none.

Some machines have a bit of a delay in holding and unholding cards, so
that if the draw button is hit too quickly, they will end up doing
something unexpected, especially since some buttons are more sensitive
than others. My solution is to slow down and always pause slightly
after holding my cards, double checking just before drawing. Many
years ago, on an old IGT machine, I swear that I paused as usual and
held all 5 cards on a dealt flush. The middle card unheld just before
I pushed the draw button and I drew another card of the same suit. I
played a lot on that machine and it was the only time I ever saw it do
that. If I had missed my flush, I would have stopped and asked them
to check the hand. I've seen players who were probably just careless
get paid in such situations.
