After playing VP for a few years at GOLD Level TR in Saint Louis - Last year my husband and I decided to play a lot more.
We both went to Diamond by April 2008 and we played quite a bit all year.
We ended up about $4000 down total for 2008, (we strayed a little and played some of the bad % VP games) but we stayed at the hotel quite a few times for free, and had a lot of free meals and had a lot of fun!!
We decided to cut back after the first of the year - because we just did not feel like we were getting much from the Diamond Level (The food now is awful most of the time in the Diamond Club - and the hosts just ignore us because we do not have 100's sticking out of every pocket and taped to our foreheads!)
They of course dropped our coupons to the big $7 level and today is my husbands birthday and he received the most cherished gift of all - A Birthday Email from Harrahs - No cash - no coupons - no Buffet - nothing - just a Big FAT Email WOO HOO!!
His Birthday Wish is to move to Vegas! Maybe we can sell the Birthday Email on Ebay!
Just a little frustrated at the total lack of customer service! I guess we did not lose enough!!
