If i have an odd amount on a ticket ($23.47) I feed it into a dollar machine that will give you 23 credits and a ticket for 47 cents.  Cash out credits for $23 and save 47 cent ticket.  At end of trip I put all of the oddball tickets in one machine and get one totaled ticket to cash.
