A few reasons I like downtown:
The casinos are smaller so it doesn't take you an hour to find your friend who doesn't play VP.
I don't wear out my shoes and feet going to another casino when I want a change of scenery.
I find more full-pay VP at quarter/dollar level than in strip casinos.
When I travel alone (female over 60), I feel safer going from one casino to another.
Comps for my low level of play are better downtown.
