I couldn't agree more. I find that the only reason I take advantage of an "offer" from HET is if they're offering me cash. The "gifts" they offer appear cheap just from the mailer they send. I always check to see if there is a cash incentive in my "TR Offers" portion of my profile, and if not, I just enter in my dates and pick whatever room is being offered for free in the place I think I want to stay for that trip. I went out to Vegas this month and stayed at Paris because of the cash offer, now we're crossing our fingers for May to see if HET will pay me to come out. I'll be there either way, but hell, if they want to PAY ME, who am I to say no, right! <grin>
