[casino_comps] casino give aways

Hah! a toothpick holder. Some of the promo items I've received over the year really make me wonder if the promotions manager is married to the promo sales person. Harrahs gives the lowest quality stuff - I got an MP3 player there that was so awful, no one at Harrahs could have ever looked at it in advance...and all the set up instructions were in Korean. A ridiculously low-end digital camera. I have learned never to let myself be influenced by any of their give-aways in choosing a trip date.

Casino Royale gets the top prize for handing me a manicure kit (with scissors, so I couldn't take it back in my carry on) when I got some configuration on VP. At least it was unexpected. And they gave me some sort of business card case, which I thought was totally stupid, but turns out I use to carry around my credit cards. So for 5 or 6 years I've walked around promoting Casino Royale every time I pulled out a credit card.

I have gotten some nice-ish stuff over the years. A really cool 4-color key chain from Rio BEFORE it was part of Harrahs. I still use it. Some high quality denim/chambray shirts from Caesars (BEFORE it was part of Harrahs).
