[vpFREE] Re: A Progressive Tale

Bill.....Sad, but happens.

On a smaller note,  Stardust progressive quarter.  I barely remember. I was there for the last week they operated.  This story happened  years before closure.  Anyhow, a .25 prog I started playing about $2500 . Played till early morning. Gave up. Next day visited all over town, but never stopped Dust.  I based out of Frontier and strolled down to Stardust next morning.  The prog was still on .  It had to be $3800 or more when I spotted it .    Hard to get seat, but got one and never hit after lot of play.  I heard it  went off a day or 2 later. Don't know what it went off at.  Also, I remember Frontier 6 coin quarter progressive going to 14- $15,000 one time.  I remember sitting at that bank and hitting $6,043 with my first roll quarters.

On the other hand, my personal record,  7  Royals in 24 hours.  Played at bar Stardust.  All but one of 7  Royals on $1,   3 play at edge of bar (by Keno) .  Royals were  made easier, time wise,  when ,2 times,  I was dealt 4-ROY and catching 2 Royals on 2-  4Roys .  So that was 4 of them. (Crazy, same machine about 20 minutes apart)   Caught 2 more single royals and hit the hay. Staying at Dust.  Next morning early, went over to LVH.  Playing 10 play quarter, 9/6 JOB and got one Royal. All within 24 hrs .  Not real spectacular since playing 3 play $1 & 10 play .25.    But, I liked that day.

Luck  is fickle.......Rule # 1....

Cheers.........Jeep
