We were in Metropolis at the end of June and it is a dump. They have plans to rebuild the casino (on land) and restaurants but it is scheduled to be complete at the end of the year. The staff at the hotel is incompetent and the restaurants are awful right now. No VP is worth playing. Right now the casino is a boat and is tiny and cramped.
The town itself is interesting if you are in to Superman.
