Re: [vpFREE] Merry Xmas!

hi
I'm new to this blog. I was a successful bj player for years, but things are getting very heated these days so I thought I would try vp and bought a book which had this site listed in the back so here I am. I lost badly on my first venture in vp even though I found a DW with a good pay table.
Anyway to answer your question, I got the same offer from Carnival about the Venetian. I did take a cruise about 4 yrs ago and did play for a little a bj but as always the rules were very bad and I didn't play much. My wife got the same offfer but she did play slots and lost quite a bit. So I guess they have dug up all players or even crusiers for many years back. I don' t know the connection between the two though. Merry Christmas and good luck to all.

Yes, the bride & I got offers last year, and went in March. We almost threw out the mailers, thinking they were junk mail from Carnival, but I had saved them since they mentioned the Venetian. We had already planned a trip to Caesars, and I opened these for the heck of it. The offers were unbelievable - my offer was 2-4 nights free, a gift basket, a free dinner, drinks, line pass & $750 in FP. The bride also got the room offers, a basket and $150 FP. As with you we'd never played at Venetian or Palazzo. They also included Gold status for I think 6 months, and that gave us discounts on Phantom at Venetian (Fabulous show - if you go, you should definitely see it!)

Glad to hear you're up & about and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Royal New Year

Hi Gang:
Hedy and I wanted to take a minute out of our day to wish a very merry
Christmas to everyone on these boards who celebrates this joyous holiday today.
Personally, we have much to be thankful for as I continue my recovery from
hip replacement surgery. It's been 24 days since the operation and I'm
feeling fine, walking without the aid of a crutch or cane and driving without
a problem. It's a tedious ... and sometimes boring ... recovery period but
every day I feel a little bit better and stronger. After being cooped up in
the house for the better part of three weeks, we're both looking forward
to our next trip, to New Orleans Jan. 14.
We also got an interesting offer recently from the Venetian/Palazzo in Las
Vegas.
It's for up to four comp nights in a luxury suite at either property, $75
in free slot play or table match play, a $20 drink voucher and free
admission and a line pass for four at LAVO Restaurant/Night Club. The offer is
valid until Feb. 28, 2010.
The offer came in a fold-out card that had the Carnival Cruise line logo
on it.
Now, the interesting part of this is that Hedy and I have NEVER played one
nickel at either the Venetian or Palazzo! We've done one or two Carnival
cruises but I don't remember playing with a card on those ships. I don't
think they have a casino tracking system, or at least, they didn't have one
then.
Does anyone know the connection between Carnival and the Venetian? And has
anyone else received a similar offer?
Regards,
CoachVee & Hedy
