We're sailing through the straits of Messina right now headed for Naples and the final day of our 13-night cruise odyssey in the Mediterranean. Weather has been abysmal (rain every day, high winds and high seas) but visiting Israel (the Wailing Wall was amazing) and Egypt (the pyraminds and Sphinx are awesome) was the thrill of a lifetime.
The real bulletin from the casino is that Hedy DID NOT hit aces once. We didn't play that much on mostly miserable pay tables, but I did manage to hit aces for $200 and I also won a Hold 'Em tournament ($300 first prize). But those were the highlights. We'll be in Rome Thursday, flying home that afternoon. We never thought we'd be deliriously happy to see 9/6 pay tables in AC but that certainly is the case!!
We hope to see our AC friends soon.
